Le duo frère et soeur Carolyn Wilbrink et Billy Pearson a grandi dans leur ferme familiale en Ontario. Les clients de Carolyn et Billy, Chris et Lauren, ont acheté leur maison de rêve, qui était jusqu'alors la propriété des parents de Chris, dans l'Ontario. Le couple espérait transformer ce bien en une maison familiale ainsi qu'en un lieu de travail pour la société de Lauren spécialisée dans la nutrition holistique. L'espace avait cependant besoin d'être sérieusement réaménagé. Carolyn et Billy l'ont rénové en une ferme moderne, fusionnant style contemporain et éléments de design de ferme traditionnelle. Ces travaux ont résulté en une atmosphère chaleureuse et accueillante, parfaite pour la combinaison d'un chez-soi et d'un bureau à domicile.
